While estate and gift tax planning often takes center stage, the generation-skipping transfer tax has its own complex compliance regime. This presentation will focus on the reporting and compliance requirements associated with GST transfers, including direct skips, taxable distributions, taxable terminations, exemption allocations, estate tax inclusion periods (ETIPs), and common reporting pitfalls. Attendees will gain practical guidance on identifying GST reporting obligations, understanding who files what and when, and ensuring that GST compliance requirements are properly met.
