MICHAEL ZAREFSKY
Mr. Zarefsky is an attorney admitted to practice law in California. He also is a licensed CPA in the state of California.
In 1995, Mr. Zarefsky co wrote the winning brief for the Roger Trayner Moot Court competition sponsored by the state bar of California.
Currently he is an Appeals Officer with the IRS dealing exclusively with Estate & Gift matters. Prior to this he was an Estate Tax Attorney with the Internal Revenue Service. He has been with the IRS for almost eighteen years.
Prior to joining the IRS he was in the banking industry holding financial management positions.
Mr. Zarefsky lectures extensively on estate, trust and income tax matters and has written a textbook on the subject. He also has taught finance for several years at a local community college and recently taught a trust and estate class at a local law school.
